A few years ago, I ran a questionnaire for CSM candidates regarding lowsec. This year, I’ve decided to do the same, with a twist: there is now a bonus round of questions tailored to each individual candidate that fills out the questionnaire. As quickly as I can, I’ll be posting up their responses: without edit or commentary. Next into the questionnaire octagon is Citricioni.
Character Name: Citricioni
Candidacy Thread: Ze German guy for CSM X (Citricioni)
PART 1 – The Questionnaire
What single part of the game do you feel requires the most work in terms of iteration by CCP?
Improvements on “Corp, Alliance and POS”-Management.
Do you feel that lowsec is ‘fixed’? If so, explain why. If not, explain what you want to see done to fix it.
No, i think there are still some issues in the game mechanics.
1. The Faction Warfare, with the possibility to stab your ship, don’t get catched by anyone and farm your LP.
2. Make it a more frigate friendly enviroment.
3. Superproduction in LowSec
Do you have any plans to push CCP, if elected, to iterate on lowsec in general?
A smother transition between High, Low an NullSec.
In your opinion, where should lowsec rank in terms of priority for iteration by CCP?
On the second place after the Sov-Changes.
What, in your opinion, are the main factors that make lowsec more attractive to its current residents than other areas of space?
No bubbles.
Pirates.
Activity.
Impossible is nothing.
What is your thinking regarding piracy in lowsec – is it good, bad, or ugly?
Negative Ten is a lifestyle <3 😀
What are your thoughts on the notion that increased protection for PVE players in lowsec will result in a better lowsec?
Less PvE in LowSec please!
What are your thoughts regarding Faction Warfare, particularly the idea that FW is the killer feature of lowsec?
Who said that?
If elected to CSMX and subsequently informed by CCP that lowsec was the ‘hot topic’ for iteration in the coming year, what input and advice would you have for them?
Remove Faction Warfare and get a eye on SmallScale PvP. Not only Largfights.
BONUS – What lengths are you willing to go to in order to make pirates flashy red on overview by default again?
It’s a nice thing, but don’t a major topic which need to be discussed in the CSM.
PART 2 – The Interview
What’s your personal background, in real life? What kind of work are you in? Does it help your chances of election, in your opinion? Why or why not?
If you weren’t running, but you could singlehandedly ensure that any other person in EVE would be elected to CSM, who would you pick and why.
Other than EVE, what was your favorite game last year (2014)?
How long have you been in lowsec? What is your favorite aspect of that region?
How would you make lowsec into a more ‘frigate friendly’ environment? With the revitalization of faction warfare a few years ago, lowsec is already a pretty great place for frigate PVP, isn’t it?
What sort of transition are you looking for between high, low, and nullsec space?
In your responses you stated that you believe there should be less PvE in lowsec. Are you in favor of turning lowsec into solely a pvp zone, rather than diversifying its appeal to other players?
Many players believe faction warfare to be one of the best things to happen to lowsec in recent years. You want to remove it. Why? Would you replace it with another system or feature?
You’ve caused a bit of a stir on the German forums, apparently at one point claiming to be a ‘troll’ candidate. Are you expecting to actually have a chance at election, or is this solely an effort to improve your standing in the community?
How would you simplify the game for new players?
You’ve stated you would like to see more ships in the game, such as T2 capitals and T3 battleships. Do you believe that ship balancing should still take precedence over the addition of new ships?
Finally, if voters knew nothing else about you, what would you want that one thing to be?
That I would do anything for EVE!
